  A Perspicacious riposte to the “Creation of Adam”: An ART RESPONSE                   “The Creation of Adam” is a fresco painting by Italian artist Michelangelo, It illustrates the Biblical creation narrative from the Book of Genesis in which God gives life to Adam, the first man. The fresco is part of a complex iconographic scheme and is chronologically the fourth in the series of panels depicting episodes from Genesis. God is depicted as an elderly white-bearded Caucasian man wrapped in a swirling cloak while Adam, on the lower left, is completely naked. God's right arm is outstretched to impart the spark of life from his own finger into that of Adam, whose left arm is extended in a pose mirroring God's, a reminder that man is created in the image and likeness of God. Another point is that Adam's finger and God's finger aren't touching. It gives the impression that God, the giver of life, is reaching...

Ivory Carving   The soap bar I used for carving was one from the brand Perla, this is because the bar had a flat surface on its back making it good material to use for carving. The pattern I made is a pretty simple one using nothing but straight lines, but despite all that it still looks fantastic to look at, no matter the shape. And as the saying goes, art comes from everywhere no matter the differences, be proud of what you can do. The art in which I did was inspired from the Byzantine Sculptures, I admire the patterns and the interesting figures formed on the sculptures and as said by Google "they were portraits of great impacting aesthetic". I myself like art very much especially ones that interest me a lot, looking at the Byzantine Sculptures, I was inspired to see how much you can do to plain looking surfaces and turn them into great pieces of artwork.

Torta The torta has a pretty confusing history. Some say it originated during the French occupation of Mexico in the 1860s. Some resources say that bakers in Mexico took inspiration from the French baguette and made smaller loaves called bolillo and telera, which were both used to make sandwhiches. In the southern Philippines, in Visayas and Mindanao torta is generally used to refer to small cakes. It usually refers to mamón or torta mamón , a native porous sponge cake delicacy that resembles a large cupcake with butter, sugar, and/or cheese on top, traditionally served with sikwate (a thick, hot drink made of ground roasted cacao seeds) for afternoon snack or merienda. And in the northern Philippines, particularly among Tagalog-speaking provinces and islands, torta refers to a kind of omelette made with eggs or eggplant, ground meat (usually beef or pork), and sometimes minced onion and potato.  ^(this is information to keep you from getting confused on which is which.)^ ...

Pagsunog ng Basura     Pagsunog ng basura ay isang problema na  nasa Cebu. Maaari itong pakalawan ng mga gases na  maka apekto sa paligid at sa mga hayop at tao. Maaari itong pumatay ng mga hayop na nasa paligid. Ang pagsunog ng basura ay nakakasira sa ating paligid, kase makalabas ito ng mga gases na nag alsa ng nakakalason na katiting at maka patay ng mga hayop at mga tanim. Kung mamatay yung mga hayop at tanim, wala tayong kainin at mawala yung hangin natin. Tayo lahat ay maapekto dahil sa pagsunog ng basura at maapektuhan ang ating panahon, kasi  ang usok ay naglalaman ng daan-daang iba't ibang mga  fuse na kemikal at maaari itong makapinsala sa ating kapaligiran at kung apektado ang ating kapaligiran, maaaring makarating sa amin ang mga ultra violet  ray at sa kalaunan ay mamatay tayo lahat. Mancao Ancestral House By: Alexis Red L. Saranza The Mancao Ancestral Home in Carcar has been around since 1932, the house has been rebuilt to its original form. The house was built during the America era and was built by one of Carcar's prominent families, the house has a big living room downstairs and in the middle of the room there is an old organ, and then the house has a wooden staircase that leads to another living room upstairs and a few bedrooms. The house has large windows and balcony doors because it was built all the way back before air conditioning.

James and the Giant Peach On February 2, 2019, We were asked to go to the SM Seaside to witness the role play of the preschoolers from our school, the story is called "James and the Giant Peach." the story is all about James, a young boy who is orphaned when his parents are eaten by a rhinoceros. James is consequently sent to live with his two aunts, Aunt Sponge and Aunt Spiker. These relatives are very cruel to him, and he is incredibly lonely, since he has no friends yet longs to play with children his own age. But on one particularly hard day, James's luck changes: an Old Man appears in the backyard garden and offers James a packet of magical green objects. If James follows a set of specific instructions (says the Old Man), something spectacular will happen. ACT-IS Family Day On January 27, 2019, Sunday is when all of us and our families spent time together, it was really exciting to see different families all together in the same school and it was fun seeing how happy all of them were, I started my day by signing in the registration area so that I can be "registered" for the family day and so that I wouldn't be left out from family day. When the mass started I was staying at the canteen because I was with some of my friends and because im non catholic, after the mass was done I went back to the tent for the grade 7 and then the family finally started, everyone was hyped up for the activites that was going to happen, for the first one though the students and their parents danced to songs that they practiced for, the students from different grades like the kindergarten, the grade school, and the high school danced to their own music and each had different steppings, after the dance I was a little exhausted from the d...
